So the only thing I wouldn't do is edit someone else's work/already edited icon. So if you wanna send me the unedited screencap and basically have me treat your existing icons as a template so you get similar crops but with my own edit, that's perfectly fine and we can do that! Maybe name the files so I can identify which cap corresponds to which of your own icons, and then I can treat your own icons as a sort of guideline, absolutely.
